The budget phone adds 5G support and a few upgrades over its 4G version.

Infinix has launched the Hot 60i 5G in India, a budget smartphone that adds 5G support and a few upgrades over its 4G version.

The handset features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 670 nits. The front camera is now a 5MP sensor in a notch, replacing the 8MP punch-hole camera from the 4G model.

Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chip and runs Android 15 with XOS 15.1. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

On the back, there’s a 50MP main camera with an unspecified secondary sensor. The battery is larger at 6,000mAh, but the charging speed drops to 18W. It also supports 10W reverse wired charging.

Other features include IP64 water and dust resistance, a side fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and a microSD slot. The phone also includes dual SIM support, an IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
