HONOR has officially launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic V5, in the Philippines. The device is priced at ₱89,999 and is now available through Globe’s GPlan PLUS 1799, with a monthly cash-out of ₱2,813. Subscribers also get a free HONOR Pad X8a worth ₱7,999.
The Magic V5 is the world’s thinnest and lightest inward-folding phone, measuring 8.8mm thick and weighing 217g.
It features a 7.95-inch LTPO Foldable OLED display with a resolution of 2352×2172, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits brightness.
The outer screen is a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED panel with 2376×1060 resolution and up to 1800 nits brightness. Both displays use HONOR’s reinforced flexible glass for durability.
Inside, the phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. It has a triple rear camera setup: 50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide, and 64MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. There are two 20MP front cameras, one on each screen.
The Magic V5 includes a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and USB-C. It’s rated IP58/IP59 for dust and water resistance. It runs MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15 and features the AI assistant YOYO.
Battery capacity is 5820mAh, which supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Globe’s GPlan PLUS offers flexible payment options and lets users convert unused data into calls, texts, or other services via the GlobeOne app.
