Mercedes-Benz Philippines has launched the Mercedes-Benz GLE 400 e 4MATIC Plug-in Hybrid, a midsize luxury SUV that blends electric efficiency with everyday practicality. It’s now available at dealerships in Greenhills, BGC, Alabang, and Cebu, with a starting price of ₱5,790,000.
The GLE 400 e pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor, delivering 252 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It offers an all-electric range of over 100 kilometers, making it suitable for city driving without emissions. Charging is supported up to 11kW via AC.
Outside, the SUV features AMG Line styling, a diamond grille, and 21-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it comes with ARTICO leather and microfiber upholstery, a Burmester sound system, and the MBUX Widescreen Cockpit with Augmented Reality Navigation. Seats are power-adjustable with memory functions, and cargo space is generous.
Safety tech includes PRE-SAFE, Active Brake Assist, a 360-degree camera, and Active Parking Assist. The Transparent Bonnet feature helps with off-road visibility, while DYNAMIC SELECT drive modes let drivers adjust performance based on road conditions.
The GLE 400 e is part of Mercedes-Benz’s push toward electrified mobility in the Philippines, offering a balance of range, comfort, and safety for urban and long-distance driving.
