HONOR has launched the Magic8 and Magic8 Pro in China with new AI features and camera upgrades. The Magic8 Series features a dedicated AI Button for quick access to its AI YOYO Agent for quick tasks like video calls, photo capture, and smart automation.
The Magic8 Pro leads the lineup with a 6.71-inch FHD+ quad-curved LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6000 nits. It’s protected by Rhino Glass. The standard Magic8 features a slightly smaller 6.58-inch screen with similar specs.
On the camera side, the Magic8 Pro packs a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto camera. It uses AI to improve image stability and clarity, even in low light.
HONOR also features Magic Color, an AI-powered color engine that helps users apply cinematic tones and custom styles from camera app.
Both phones run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. HONOR says the new GPU-NPU setup boosts gaming performance by increasing resolution and frame rates. The Magic8 Pro also packs a 7,200mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The phones ship with MagicOS 10, which supports cross-platform features for Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, and Windows.
The Magic8 starts at RMB 4,499 (around ₱36,680 / $630), while the Magic8 Pro is priced at RMB 5,699 (₱46,470 / $800). Pre-orders in China began on October 15.
