OPPO is set to roll out ColorOS 16 globally alongside the Find X9 Series. The update features several improvements in performance, design, and cross-device connectivity.

ColorOS 16 features the new Seamless Animation system, designed to make transitions and interactions smoother across the interface. It’s powered by two technologies: the Luminous Rendering Engine, which handles visual rendering in parallel, and the Trinity Engine, which optimizes speed and power efficiency during heavy usage.
The update also brings a new design inspired by natural light and shadow with more personalization options. Users can set motion photos or videos as wallpapers, resize app folders, and access a full-screen Always-On Display that transitions to the lock screen.
For photo and video editing, ColorOS 16 adds AI Portrait Glow, which enhances low-light portraits. It joins existing AI-powered editing tools like AI Eraser and AI Unblur. The built-in video editor also includes Master Cut for more control over trimming, filters, and adjustments.
Connectivity across devices has also been expanded. O+ Connect now supports both Mac and Windows PCs, allowing users to manage files or mirror up to five apps from their phone to a computer.
