OPPO is set to launch the Pad Air5 on December 25. The new tablet comes with a bigger battery, sharper display, and more options for connectivity. Rumors suggest this to be rebadged version of the OnePlus Pad Go 2.

The OPPO Pad Air5 features a 12.1-inch display with a 2.8K resolution, offering crisper visuals compared to standard Full HD panels. It also packs a 10,050 mAh battery, which should last longer for streaming, browsing, and gaming.
As for the processor, the tablet is expected to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra, similar to the Pad Go 2.
There are Wi-Fi-only and 5G-ready versions, with three memory configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. For colors, buyers can choose between Starlight Pink and Space Grey.
Pre-orders in China are already open. Those who reserve early will get a free protective case worth and a smart stylus.

The OPPO Pad Air5 looks like a solid option for anyone looking for a capable tablet that doesn’t push into premium pricing. The official launch on December 25 will mark OPPO’s latest addition to its growing tablet lineup.
