HONOR has unveiled the Magic8 Pro Air in China, a flagship phone akin to the iPhone Air that puts design and performance front and center. The handset is just 6.1mm thin and weighs 155g, making it one of the slimmest premium devices around.
The Magic8 Pro Air comes with an aluminum frame, a glass back, and IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Up front, it features a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits of peak brightness. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a 50MP selfie camera.
At the back, you’ll find a visor-style module with three cameras: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro shooter.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
It ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Powering everything is a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The HIONOR Magic8 Pro Air comes in Shadow Black, Fairy Purple, Feather White, and Light Orange.

Prices start at CNY 4,999 (around PHP 42,600 / USD 720) for the 12GB+256GB model, while the top 16GB+1TB variant costs CNY 5,999 (around PHP 51,120 / USD 860).
Sales begin in China on January 23, 2026. A global release has not yet been confirmed.
