Infinix has rolled out XOS 16, the latest version of its Android skin. The update brings a cleaner look, more personalization, and more AI features.
The new design is called Glow-space. It introduces smoother animations and refreshed app icons. Users also get new wallpapers, lock screen options, and custom themes. It also has an AI theme generator, which lets users create designs from text or images.
Keeping up with the times, AI takes center stage in XOS 16. Folax now serves as the hub for smart tools. These include AI Note for sketches, AI Recording Summary for instant transcripts, and Flash Memo for capturing and summarizing on-screen content.
The AI Call Assistant adds real-time translation, call summaries, and auto-answer. Students can use built-in translation, document scanning, and writing support. The camera app also gains an eraser tool and image extension.
Gaming features are part of the update as well. XOS 16 offers system-level modes for performance, balance, and power saving. Other additions include bypass charging, frame interpolation for smoother graphics, and Magic Voice Changer 2.0 with adjustable voice profiles.

Infinix said XOS 16 will ship with upcoming smartphones and roll out to current devices soon.
