The Infinix NOTE Edge is set to launch in the Philippines on February 24, 2026. Officially announced last January, the handset is the first to run on the new MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and the company’s latest Android 16-based operating system, XOS 16.
The phone is bringing advanced features to the mid-range segment. With the MediaTek chip, the device can offer stable 5G at lower power use. It also brings enhancements that reduce lag in crowded areas and improve performance in weak-signal locations.
Gaming and multitasking are also a focus. The NOTE Edge supports up to 90fps in Honor of Kings and 60fps in PUBG: Battlegrounds. Meanwhile, effective thermal management ensures consistent performance during long sessions.
Power efficiency has been improved as well, with modem consumption reduced by 21 percent and background app usage lowered by 4.4 percent.
XOS 16 brings a refreshed interface with Glow Space design elements, semi-transparent controls, and 3D spatial wallpapers. Touch responsiveness is enhanced, syncing input and animation. The system also supports Live Photo transfers with iPhone.
Looking at the rest of the specs, the NOTE Edge features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4500 nits peak brightness.
For imaging, it has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 13MP front shooter. The device is also equipped with a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging.
Other features include JBL-tuned stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an FM radio, and an IR blaster. It also comes with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
