Infinix has announced the HOT 70, its latest entry in the budget smartphone lineup. The device features a large display, a big battery, and a new MediaTek chip.
The HOT 70 comes with a 6.78‑inch HD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 700 nits brightness. On the back, it has a 50MP main camera and dual LED flash, while the front features an 8MP selfie camera.
Inside, the phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, expandable up to 1TB via a hybrid slot.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the device, supported by 45W fast charging and 16W reverse charging. Despite the large battery, the phone weighs only 193 grams. It also has an IP64 rating for water and dust protection.
The HOT 70 ships with XOS 16 based on Android 16. Infinix promises up to 3 OS updates and up to 5 years of security patches. Updates will vary per market.

In Bangladesh, the Hot 70 is priced at BDT 18,999 (around ₱9,530 / $150 / INR 14,830) for the 4GB+128GB model, and BDT 21,999 (around ₱11,030 / $180 / INR 17,170) for the 6GB+128GB option.
Infinix has yet to confirm local availability. For comparison, the HOT 60 Pro is priced at ₱6,999, while the HOT 60 Pro+ is at ₱8,999 in the Philippines.
