All‑in‑one digital healthcare platform mWell partnered with MindNaton to make mental health care more accessible. The move aims to help Filipinos take care of both mind and body using certified mental health support available right from the mWell app.
Mental health stigma remains a big challenge in the country. Many Filipinos still see mental health struggles as a weakness, often choosing silence over seeking help. Cultural values like hiya (shame) and pakikisama (social harmony) make it harder to open up.
In the workplace, the fear runs deeper. According to the International Labour Organization, around 75% of Filipinos worry that admitting mental health issues could affect their career opportunities.
Through the mWell app, users can now connect with licensed mental health professionals from MindNation for online consultations and guided wellness programs.
The platform also offers digital tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional well‑being, encouraging open conversations and breaking long‑standing stigma.

The initiative reinforces that mental health is just as important as physical health and that help should be within reach for everyone.
