Apple has raised prices in the Philippines, with the MacBook Neo taking a big hit. The 256GB model, which launched at ₱39,990, now costs ₱49,990.
The MacBook Neo was introduced as Apple’s entry-level laptop, aimed at students and professionals looking for a more affordable option. With the ₱10,000 jump, it’s no longer the budget-friendly choice it once was.
Apple CEO Tim Cook warned that product prices will go up as memory chip costs surge. This increase is part of a wider adjustment across Apple’s lineup.
The Apple TV 4K went from ₱9,490 to ₱14,490. iPads also saw steep hikes: the iPad (A16) rose from ₱24,990 to ₱32,990, the iPad mini (A17 Pro) from ₱34,990 to ₱42,990, and the iPad Air (M4) from ₱42,990 to ₱54,990. The iPad Pro (M5) climbed from ₱72,990 to ₱89,990.
Mac desktops and laptops followed the same trend. The Mac mini (M4, 512GB) increased from ₱49,990 to ₱55,990. The MacBook Air (M5) jumped from ₱78,990 to ₱89,990, while the MacBook Pro (M5) saw the sharpest rise, from ₱109,990 to ₱139,990.
These changes mark some of the biggest price adjustments Apple has made locally. iPhone prices remain unchanged for now. Updated prices are already live on Apple’s Philippine online store and authorized resellers.
For now, iPhones remain untouched, but the move means future adjustments could still happen. Those planning to upgrade may need to rethink their timing and plan their budget as Apple devices get more expensive in the country.
