POCO has quietly raised smartphone prices in the Philippines, a big shift for a brand known for budget-friendly devices. The increase comes as rising component costs continue to push up prices across the tech industry, with Apple’s iPads and MacBooks also seeing steep hikes earlier this week.
On POCO’s official Shopee store, several models now list higher prices compared to their launch. Here are some of them:
- POCO F8 Ultra – ₱51,999 (from ₱39,999)
- POCO F8 Pro – ₱39,999 (from ₱29,999)
- POCO X8 Pro Max – ₱36,999 (from ₱25,999)
- POCO X8 Pro – ₱25,999 (from ₱18,999)
- POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition – ₱28,999 (from ₱21,999)
- POCO M8 Pro 5G – ₱17,999 (from ₱16,999)
- POCO M8 5G – ₱15,999 (from ₱12,999)
These jumps mark a noticeable change for POCO, which built its reputation on affordable performance phones. Even mid-range models like the M8 series were not spared from adjustments.
The price hike reflects a broader trend in the market, where higher production costs are forcing brands to pass expenses on to consumers. For buyers, this means fewer options at the lower end and higher entry points for popular models.

POCO’s updated prices are now live on its Shopee store. With costs continuing to rise, this likely won’t be the last increase we’ll experience, and other smartphone makers are expected to follow suit.
