EcoFlow, Angat Buhay partner to aid Mindanao quake relief

EcoFlow, a global provider of portable power and renewable energy solutions, has partnered with Philippine NGO Angat Buhay to support disaster relief operations in Southern Mindanao following the recent earthquake. Their goal is to deliver sustainable energy access to affected communities facing widespread power outages.

With severe structural damage disrupting the electrical grid, EcoFlow is donating portable power stations and solar charging systems to help responders and residents regain access to electricity. The equipment will be used to power communication devices, medical tools, and relief operations in areas where infrastructure remains down.

Henry Liu, Regional Director for APAC at EcoFlow, said dependable electricity is vital during emergencies, especially when communities and rescue teams operate without stable power.

“Reliable access to electricity can make a meaningful difference for responders and affected communities during emergencies. We hope to strengthen response efforts and help communities recover more quickly,” said Liu.

EcoFlow also conducted operational training for local responders to ensure proper use of the donated systems.
