NBA 2K27 has revealed its cover athletes: Victor Wembanyama, Caitlin Clark, and Derrick Rose. The game launches worldwide on September 4, 2026, with early access starting August 28 for special editions.
Wembanyama, the San Antonio Spurs star and Defensive Player of the Year, is on the Standard Edition. Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever guard and WNBA Rookie of the Year, fronts the Deluxe Edition. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls legend and youngest MVP in NBA history, is featured on the Ultra Edition, available only until September 6.
Each edition comes with extras. The Deluxe Edition includes 100,000 VC, MyCAREER boosts, jerseys, MyTEAM packs, and early access. The Ultra Edition adds 35,000 VC, a Season Pass bundle, premium MyTEAM cards, and a loyalty discount for NBA 2K26 players, plus an exclusive hoodie.

NBA 2K27 is developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. The official gameplay trailer is dropping on July 28. Pre-orders are now live across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch 2.
