Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 teaser trailer was shown at D23 2026, confirming the series will stream on Disney+ starting January 20, 2027. The trailer features Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) facing Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) while Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) rallies the Imperial remnant.
Dave Filoni, the series creator, spoke about Star Wars reaching its 50th year and how Ahsoka continues the story through animation and live action. Rosario Dawson said “this season is massive,” pointing to bigger battles, higher stakes, and Thrawn as the main threat.
Hayden Christensen returns as Anakin in flashbacks with young Ahsoka and in scenes guiding her adult self. Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) reunites with Hera Syndulla to fight for the New Republic against the Imperial remnant.
Disney also revealed new poster art showing Ahsoka, Thrawn, Sabine Wren, and other key characters. Season 1 is already streaming, while Season 2 connects directly to the franchise’s 50th anniversary celebration with the re-release of the original Star Wars in theaters.

You can expect more battles, deeper character arcs, and a stronger connection to the Star Wars legacy when Ahsoka returns in January 2027.
