vivo has unveiled the vivo T5 5G in India, expanding the T5 series with a new model that packs a huge 7,050mAh battery and a slim 7.99mm body. The phone will be available in the country starting September 9.
The vivo T5 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and promises three OS upgrades plus five years of security updates.
The display is a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED with 2800×1260 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 3,000 nits peak brightness. It has a 32MP selfie camera in a punch-hole and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the back, the phone carries a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens, paired with a circular flash. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video at 30FPS.
The battery is rated at 7,050mAh with 44W charging. Other features include dual stereo speakers, a VC cooling system, MIL-STD-810H certification, IP68/IP69 dust and water protection ratings, and wet touch support for use with wet hands.
Color options are Royal Bronze and Silver Green. Four memory variants are available: 6GB+128GB at INR 34,999 (around PHP 23,200 / USD 370), 8GB+128GB at INR 39,999 (PHP 26,500 / USD 425), 8GB+256GB at INR 44,999 (PHP 29,800 / USD 480), and 12GB+256GB at INR 49,999 (PHP 33,200 / USD 530).

The vivo T5 5G shares many specs with the iQOO Z11, which launched in India a week earlier. Sales start September 9 through vivo India’s site, Flipkart, and partner retail stores.
