The iPhone Duo is eSIM-only worldwide, which means it does not have a physical SIM card slot. The new device unfolds into a tablet display while relying entirely on digital SIM profiles for cellular connectivity.
Apple’s first foldable iPhone also comes with temporary IP68 dust and water resistance. The company warns that this water and dust protection can decrease over time with normal wear and tear, similar to Google’s Pixel Fold.
The iPhone Duo recently launched, featuring a 5.4-inch outer cover screen and a 7.6-inch inner folding screen. Both displays use Ceramic Shield protection and support 120Hz refresh rates. The inner display includes a matte nano-texture finish that works with Apple Pencil.
Apple built the device to be durable, using a Grade 5 titanium frame and hinge assembly. A side-mounted Touch ID sensor sits directly on the power button for biometric authentication.
Inside, the phone runs on the A20 Pro processor backed by a custom vapor chamber cooling system. The device ships with iOS 27, introducing Split View multitasking to run two apps side by side on the main screen.
The dual battery design offers up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer display and 31 hours on the inner display. Fast charging reaches 50% in 20 minutes with a 60W adapter.
The rear camera module pairs a 48MP main camera with a 48MP ultra-wide lens. An under-display FaceTime camera leaves the inner screen uninterrupted, while the cover display acts as a preview screen for main-camera selfies.
In the Philippines, pricing starts at ₱159,990 for 256GB of storage. Color choices include Night Sky and Star White.
