vivo has launched OriginOS 7 globally, its newest operating system built for a smarter and smoother smartphone experience. The update brings faster performance, better multitasking, and deeper customization.
OriginOS 7 runs on the new Origin Smooth Engine that improves graphics, memory, and system scheduling. Ultra-Core Computing adjusts resources based on what you’re doing, keeping things responsive while gaming or multitasking.
Memory Fusion can free up to 25GB of storage on a 256GB phone, while Dual Rendering makes animations 14 percent more efficient. vivo also tested the system for 72 months to keep it running smoothly over time.
For multitasking, Origin Workbench lets you use up to five apps at once in one workspace. It’s made for people who switch between tasks often, like editing files while chatting or checking notes while watching videos.
The update also adds Origin Animation, which makes swipes and transitions feel more natural. Fluid Motion and Spring Animation make scrolling and movement across apps smoother.
OriginOS 7 connects better with other devices too. You can link your vivo phone with Apple Watch, AirPods, Mac, iPad, or Windows PC using vivo Office Kit. It also supports iCloud access through the File Manager for easy photo and file transfers.
The new Jovi AI assistant helps with tasks like retrieving files, summarizing info, and turning handwritten notes into editable documents. Jovi Security keeps AI actions transparent and under your control.
You can personalize your phone with new lock screen and Always-On Display themes like Wiggle, Glint, StickIt, and Pet Pals that react to movement, charging, and music.

OriginOS 7 will be available on the vivo X500 Series, plus new X Fold and V Series phones. Philippine rollout details will be announced soon through vivo’s official channels.
