The vivo V80 Lite just made history by completing a 32-hour, 37-minute nonstop livestream in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The record, set on August 11, 2026, earned the title of “The Longest Electronic Product Live Stream” under Guinness World Records.
The phone stayed powered through more than a full day of continuous streaming, showing how far its battery can go. The test was done under official guidelines, showing the V80 Lite’s endurance ahead of its launch.
Creators from Southeast Asia joined the challenge, including representatives from Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. They used the phone for navigation, photos, gaming, and calls while keeping the stream live.
The record showcased the V80 Lite’s 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, the biggest battery vivo has ever made. Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines, said the goal was to show how long the phone could last under pressure.
“We wanted to put the V80 Lite through a demanding, measurable challenge, and 32 hours and 37 minutes gave us a clear result that people can see for themselves,” she said.
