Netflix PH October lineup: 16 new titles

Netflix is adding 16 new titles to its Philippines lineup this October, led by the Filipino thriller Balaraw: Blood Island. The film premieres October 29 and stars Janine Gutierrez, Charlie Dizon, and Agot Isidro. It follows a woman searching for her missing mother on a sinister island.

These releases mix thrillers, anime, comedies, and local Filipino content, offering viewers a wide range of choices.

The month opens with East of Eden on October 1, a generational saga about two brothers. Midnight Girls also arrives the same day, telling the story of Filipina nightclub workers in Nagoya.

Anime fans get The Ramparts of Ice season 2 on October 1, Blue Box season 2 with a Filipino dub on October 4, and Ranma ½ season 3 also on October 4.

October 8 brings Below, a thriller about a fisherman battling a sea creature. Haunted Hotel season 2 follows on October 9, mixing paranormal drama with family conflict.

That same day, Is It Cake? Halloween season 2 drops with spooky cake designs, while Take Charge of My Heart adds romance to the lineup.

The Diplomat season 4 arrives October 15, continuing Kate Wyler’s political drama. On October 10, 100 Days of Deception premieres, and Did Someone Happen to Mention Me? lands October 22. Minimum Wage closes the month on October 26, focusing on teens running a pizzeria.
