Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Buds On, its first open-ear earbuds, launching in South Korea on October 27. The new model introduces a clip-style design that attaches to the side of the ear, which lets ambient sound pass through naturally.
The Galaxy Buds On feature touch controls at the back, automatic volume adjustment, and noise leakage reduction. Samsung also added improved call quality and head gesture support for calls, alarms, and other functions.
Performance is powered by a Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 chip, giving the Buds On up to 9.5 hours of battery life. They also support Gemini Live and come with a charging case similar to the Galaxy Buds 4.

In Korea, the Galaxy Buds On are priced at KRW 299,000 (which converts to around PHP 14,000 / USD 220). The earbuds will be available starting October 27, with a global rollout expected after the local launch.
