Xiaomi has launched the REDMI 17 and REDMI 17 5G in the Philippines. The new budget smartphones feature large displays, a 7,500mAh battery, and prices starting at PHP 12,999.
The REDMI 17 series comes with a 6.9-inch display that supports up to a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. Both models also pack a large battery with support for 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
For photography, the phones feature a 50MP AI dual rear camera system. Other shared features include dual stereo speakers with up to 300% volume amplification, IP64 dust and splash resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and Xiaomi HyperOS 3.
The standard REDMI 17 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra processor. It comes in Orange, Deep Blue, and Oak Green color options.
Meanwhile, the REDMI 17 5G uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and adds 5G connectivity. It is available in Black, Deep Blue, and Vivid Orange with a PU leather finish.
In the Philippines, the REDMI 17 with 4GB+128GB storage is priced at PHP 12,999. The REDMI 17 5G with the same memory and storage configuration has a suggested retail price of PHP 14,999. Xiaomi is also offering early-bird prices of PHP 11,999 and PHP 13,999, respectively, until October 31, 2026.
Buyers who purchase during the first-sale period will receive a VIP Card package with added after-sales benefits. These include a free battery replacement within three years, a free screen replacement within two years, a free back cover or camera lens replacement within two years, and an extended quality assurance warranty of up to 24 months.
