The Honda CR-V is one of the bestselling units from Honda. In the Philippines, it is one of the most recognized mid-sized SUVs around. The looks of the CR-V has transitioned in time and the current model is one of the most aggressively designed versions so far. Actually, it’s the current CR-V’s grille that screams sporty.
Honda recently unveiled the 2012 Honda CR-V and in terms of design, I don’t exactly know how I feel about it. At certain angles it’s attractive, at some it looks awkward. Overall though, there’s no doubt that it’s still distinctively CR-V. Here are photos of the Honda CR-V 2012 I got from the company’s product page.
From the above photos of the Honda CR-V 2012, I can see the old CR-V’s chin, and also the immediate predecessor’s rear. It’s really a mixture of the old and the new, but there’s no mistaking Honda’s design philosophy in the current model. About the front’s design, I can’t help but recognize the same character as that of the Kia Sportage. Viewed from the side on the other hand, I see traces of Volvo’s design on its recent SUVs. These are just similarities I observed. The Honda CR-V 2012 still has a unique character and at the end of the day, I still say that I like its design. Here is how the new CR-V’s interior looks like.
Please note, however, that this is the Honda CR-V released in the US, although in my opinion, this could be the same design that will be released in the Philippines, save for a few minor modifications. Launch and pricing in the Philippines is still unknown.

Nice Body more aggresive…Front look like Honda Pilot….Back look like Volvo…
Nice design but I still buy the 2009 and 2010 edition CR-V which has unique and cool body for me.
looks good to me. current CR V is ugly, imo.
