Cherry Mobile has been in the budget phone business for quite some time now. It is one of the most prolific local phone brands and is also one of the most aggressive when it comes to marketing as shown by the number of celebrity endorsers it has tapped so far. As to the quality of products, I cannot say it is the most trusted considering the comments I get from readers. Very recently, it launched the Cherry Mobile W900 Dragon Phone, a 4-inch Android phone that has the budget-conscious buyers in mind.
In terms of specs, the Cherry Mobile W900 Dragon Phone is not one that aims to impress. It has a 4-inch capacitive LCD display with 800 x 480 WVGA resolution, a 1.2GHz single core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture, and is also DLNA compatible. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and there’s no word if ICS is in the pipeline. For storage, the Cherry Mobile W900 Dragon Phone has a measly 1GB internal storage but thankfully, there’s a microSD expansion slot.
The design of the Cherry Mobile W900 is not one to get excited about. It’s a poor effort, in my opinion, and shows elements copied from Blackberry handsets. What could attract buyers though is the P9,990 retail price. But for this price, there are other nice alternatives in the market from more trusted brands that you should check out.

hmm nagulat ako ng makita ko ang w900 cherry mobile.. di ko akalain n my magandang phone ang cherry mobile.yung mga nakikita ko kasi e 799 php 1200 php. di lumalayo sa ganun price den na curious ako intry ko xa gamitin na impress ako na unag touch ko p lng astig soft touch xa at malaki ang screen. mabilis rin sa facebook youtube.. ang di ko lng gus2 e walang flash yung camera nya. madali ma drain ang battery. walng video editor at pag i pplay mo yung video nya i nka landscape kahit ilipat mo sa pc yung video e nka landscape p rin.. kung nag hahanap kau ng camera phone at mahilig kau mag video iba n lng buy nyo. pero ok naman i operate ang w900 yun nga lang parang my kulang at hindi ako satisfied.kung bibili pala kau at ka plan ang sim noy e i off nyo yung data transer at auto sync.. di nyo namamalayan e nag gagamit n pala kau internet using 3g with ur sim.. wifi n lng i open nyo dami ko nasabi hehe pero totoo yan mas soft touch p yan sa LG cookie ko mas madali i operate kesa LG cookie. xa nga pala di masyado malakas ang sound nya compared sa LG cookie ko kahit maliit LG cookie mas malakas sound nya haha irrelevant n ata mga sinasabi ko
