Ainol Novo 10 Hero II, a Quad-Core Android Tablet Priced at P9,800

OPPO Reno12 F 5G Coming Soon

You’ve got to appreciate what Ainol is doing to the Android tablet scene in the Philippines.  The brand has been offering affordable Android tablets with decent specs and the recent one to have been announced in the Philippines is a feature-packed 10-incher.  The new Android tablet I’m talking about is the Ainol Novo 10 Hero II with features worthy of premium tablets but is surprisingly priced at only P9,800.

For the mentioned price, you get a quad-core tablet with a nice 10-inch display, a huge battery, and Android Jelly Bean, the newest version of the Android OS.   The Ainol Novo 10 Hero II runs on a 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core CPU that’s paired with 1GB of RAM, a combination that should give you the speed you need even for the most complicated apps and games.  The Novo 10 Hero II also sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280×800 resolution, so videos and games should look sharp enough.   The tablet’s battery life should also be expected to last long even with the 10-inch display since it packs an 8000mAh battery.

The tablet’s internal storage is 16GB which, again, is decent enough considering the tablet’s retail price.  If you’re expecting a good  camera, though, you’d be disappointed as the Ainol Novo 10 Hero II’s rear camera is only of the 2-megapixel variety.  This is bad but if taking photos is not that important to you, you should look at the tablet’s other specs, which still makes this tablet worth considering.  There’s a front-facing camera but it’s of the VGA type.
