Don’t get confused with all the Spiderman movies that have come out of the theater. The first of the modern Spiderman movies was starred in by Tobey Maguire while the more recent one was starred in by Andrew Garfield. The titles are different as well. The first ones were simply entitled “Spider-Man” while the new one carried the word “Amazing”. In any case, there’s a part two of Andrew Garfield’s version and the trailers (yes, trailers) have just recently been released. The villains featured in Amazing Spider-Man 2 are Electro and Rhino, so at least they are villains we haven’t seen in previous Spiderman movies. The movie also introduces Green Goblin, but I know you’ve seen him before.
One version of the trailer for Amazing Spider-Man 2 is for the US and the other for international release. The US version is longer and shows almost all important parts of the movie, including plot and action sequences. The international version shows much less. I don’t know why there are two versions and why the US version is already like a mini movie. Maybe Americans are harder to convince so Columbia Pictures had to put in too much detail to make the trailer more compelling.
Here are the trailers for Amazing Spider-Man 2. The plot of the movie follows the trailers.

Amazing Spider-Man 2: Movie Plot
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
