SKK Marian V1 Announced; 5 inch Quad Core Phone Named After Marian Rivera

SKK Mobile has recently announced the SKK Marian V1, the first of a series of phones and tablets named after their celebrity endorser, Marian Rivera.

According to their Facebook post, the Marian V1 will come with a 5 inch IPS LCD display (854 x 480), a 1.3GHz quad core processor, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, an 8MP rear cam (+flash), dual sim capability, and a host of connectivity options (WiFi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth).

The Marian V1 will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The phone also comes with a free smartcase. No other information (ie. price and availability) was released.

Interesting move by SKK Mobile. Being the first, the Marian V1 could spark a celebrity-named-phone wars waged in the PH.
