In celebration of Cherry Mobile’s upcoming fifth year anniversary, the company officially launches their “Phablet ng Bayan,” the Flare 3 — a 5 inch quad core smartphone priced under P4k.
When they asked what kind of smartphone you would get for P3,999, we knew the Flare 3 won’t disappoint in the specs department. The “Best ever Flare” will come with a 5-inch qHD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a Mali 400MP GPU, and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The phablet will also come with a new memory combination of 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, along with microSD support of up to 64GB. This is a welcome addition, because even with microSD support, 4GB storage can only go so far.
Not bad for a phone under 4k.
The Flare 3 will be initially available for sale on August 2 in Robinsons Manila, SM North EDSA, and Graphics CDO. If you are planning to go there to get one, the line starts at 3PM, with the selling beginning at 5PM. The first 100 buyers will get a free powerbank, flip cover, and screen protector.
