Cherry Mobile recently announced Windows 8.1 powered Alpha Style and the Alpha Luxe during their WOW – We’re on Windows event. It is the local company’s first foray into the world of Windows OS. The phones were surprisingly cheap, with the Style priced at P2,999 and the Luxe at P4,999. Uptake of Windows OS (now version 8.1) has been slow, despite receiving lots of praise for design, performance and usability, and an increase in the number of apps in it’s store.
With the Alpha Style and Alpha Luxe, it would looks like Cherry Mobile is a the forefront of affordable Windows powered phones. The big question is: are you interested? Because I know I am.

Yeah. Its a good place to start if you’re thinking of trying Win 8.1.
