Using the Nokia brand, Microsoft recently unveiled the Nokia 215. The (semi-smart?) phone comes in single and dual SIM variants, and has internet connectivity. It’s all this and a lot more for only $29 (or somewhere around Php1,350 to Php1,400).

The 215’s internet connectivity is powered by 2G/EDGE. It comes preloaded with an Opera Mini web browser, Facebook app and Facebook Messenger, and Twitter. The phone also has Bing Search and MSN Weather. Additional specs include a 2.4 inch QVGA screen (240 x 320), 0.3MP camera that also records videos, Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM, an FM radio, a media player, an LED flashlight, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB. Lastly, it comes with a 1,100mAh battery with up to 20 hours talk time and 29 days standby time.

The Nokia 215 and 215 Dual SIM will go on sale in select markets starting with Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
