Cherry Mobile has just unveiled their newest Android One device, the Cherry Mobile One G1. In true Google fashion, the device features a 5 inch HD display, packs a 64-bit quad core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13 MP camera.
Like the Cherry Mobile One, the One G1 features a simple and functional design, with clean lines and a matte back plate. By far the biggest change the One G1 has over its predecessor is the processor. It now boasts a 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. Gaming duties are handled by an Adreno 306 GPU. It also has 16GB of storage and a much improved 13MP BSI main camera.
And the best thing about it? It runs stock Android 5.1.1. Not hampered by bloat, stock Android usually runs smoother and faster than most if its counterparts (see Cherry Mobile One). And thanks to the Android One program, users are assured of timely OS updates for the next 2 years (including Android M!).
