Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa and Flare S3 Power Get Lollipop Update

Cherry Mobile announced on their Facebook page that they are now seeding the Android Lollipop update via OTA for the Flare S3 Octa and the Flare S3 Power.

Owners of the two Flare S3 variants can start checking for the OTA update through the software update button on the settings panel. Cherry also put out a warning that the update is not applicable to rooted on modded devices.

Cherry Mobile also has some tips for those updating:

  • Make sure you have strong and stable Wi-Fi connection
  • Reformat your SD card
  • Make sure your unit is not rooted

    Plss help me.. Paano ko po maaupdate ang device ko na cherry mobile flare s3 octa into 5.01 lollipop ..kc d ako nkarecieve ng update kc nka root ang phone ko..kya pno ko po maaupdate ngayon. Na unroot ko npo this time plss tulungan nu po ako..
