Pokemon GO is finally here! And if you haven’t started yet, Smart and Voyager Innovations have teamed up to make playing the game a little easier.

Download the Pokemon GO app for FREE

If you haven’t downloaded it yet (why?), then check this out. Smart subscribers (with Sun and TNT subscribers to follow) can download the Pokemon GO app for free and without data charges on freenet. Android phone users on Smart need only run the freenet app and download the game from there. Easy.

Free Pokemon GO Data Access for 7 days

Now that you have the game installed, Smart is here to help us get started. From August 6 to 12, Smart and TNT subscribers get to play Pokemon GO for FREE with NO DATA CHARGES for 7 days. No registration required! That’s a week of hunting down as many pocket monsters as you can.

As an added bonus, Smart subscribers can also charge Pokecoin purchases (the app’s in-game currency) directly to their prepaid load or postpaid account via the Google Direct Carrier Billing for Android.

Use PayMaya to buy Pokecoins

No credit card? No problem. Serious Trainers can buy Pokecoins using their PayMaya accounts. Players only have to download the PayMaya app on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, load up their accounts with at least P60 to cover the standard app store verification fee, and link their virtual VISA card to their app store accounts to start making in-app purchases.

Pokecoins lets trainers purchase various items in the game, such as Pokeballs to catch Pokemon with, Lucky Eggs that allow them to “hatch” various types of Pokemon, Potions to restore the health of their Pokemon, and Incense and Lure Modules that make it easy to attract wild Pokemon to their immediate vicinity.
