ASUS PH Announces Flagship ZenFone 3 Deluxe

We already know ASUS has a new beast of a flagship in the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe. Last Sunday, the company announced its arrival in the Philippines.

By all accounts, the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe is a flagship model. It gets the nod as the first metal unibody smartphone with invisible antennas using what they call PureMetal Technology, a clever process that hides the antennas within the metal frame. The result is a seamless design with no plastic lines and no signal interruptions.

The Deluxe uses a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood is a quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and an Adreno 530 graphics chip. It comes in two huge storage options, 64GB and 256GB, with options to expand via microSD card slot.

For imaging, the Deluxe comes with a 23MP PixelMaster 3 main camera, powered by a Sony IMX318 sensor. The lens has an f/2.0 aperture, protected by Sapphire Crystal, and uses ASUS’ TriTech Autofocus System (a combination of technologies for faster AF).

The rest of the specs is pretty standard for today’s flagships — a fingerprint sensor, a large 3,000 mAh battery (with Quick Charge 3.0), a bevy of connection options, and a USB Type-C port.

Price and Availability

The ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe will have a retail price of P34,995 for the 64GB model and P44,995 for the 256GB model. It will be available in September 2016.
