ASUS has unveiled the new ASUS Pad with a 12.2‑inch OLED display and a 9000mAh battery. The tablet will launch in India on August 6, though pricing has not yet been revealed.
The ASUS Pad comes with a 2800×1840 OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a 3:2 aspect ratio and can hit 2,000 nits of peak brightness.
Audio is powered by four Dolby Atmos 360 speakers, while performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chip with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB expandable UFS 3.1 storage.
For imaging, the tablet carries a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. It also has a large 9000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, giving it enough power for long use.
The ASUS Pad measures 271.1×182.4×6.5 mm, weighs 523g, and comes with a case included in the box. It runs Android 16 and will be available in Pure White colorway.
With its India launch set, the next detail to watch is the official price. It remains to be seen if the ASUS Pad will be available in other regions.
