Online retailer brings Nokia 6 to the PH

Nokia 6 Philippines

I guess it was just a matter of time before the China-only Nokia 6 trickles down to other Asian countries like the Philippines. It’s already available online. And now, Widget City has it too.

Nokia 6 in the PH

Local online retailer Widget City is bringing the Nokia 6 to the Philippines. The phone is exclusive to China’s JD.com. It features a metal unibody build, a 5.5-inch HD display, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

As of writing, Widget City did not mention a price. In China, it will retail for Yuan 1,699 or, roughly converted, PHP12,500. We can assume that it will be a bit more expensive here, but hopefully not too much. According to other news sources, the Nokia 6 will be available in Lazada for PHP18,590 — which, in my opinion, is a bit too much for what the device offers.

Nokia 6 Specs:

  • 5.5-inch HD Display (1920 x 1080; 403 ppi)
  • Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430
  • Adreno 505
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB Storage +microSD up to 128GB
  • 16MP Main Camera w/ f2.0, PDAF
  • 8MP Front Camera w/ f2.o
  • 4G, 3G
  • Dual SIM
  • Bluetooth
  • GPS
  • Fingerprint Sensor (Front Mounted)
  • Android 7.0 Nougat
  • Dimensions: h 154 x w 75.8 x t 7.85
  • 3,000 mAh Non-removable Battery

This Nokia 6 will be available at Widget City by February 2017. Those interested can pre-order here.
