Huawei P10 and P10 Plus Philippines: Price, Specs, Availability

Let’s start the week with one of the most anticipated smartphones in the country. Huawei announces the arrival of  Huawei P10 and the Huawei P10 Plus in the Philippines. The new phones feature an updated design and dual Leica optics.

With the success of the P9 and the P9 Plus, Huawei spared no time in announcing one of this year’s most anticipated smartphones, the Huawei P10 and the P1o Plus. With partner Leica Camera AG, the two worked together and improved on what was already a very good phone.

The two smartphones have similar specs, save for the display size, plus a few more bonuses (for the Plus). Both feature Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset with 4GB RAM, the second generation Leica Dual-Camera system, and a large battery with SuperCharge.

 

The Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 system pairs a 12MP RGB sensor with a 20MP monochrome sensor. It improves on last year’s offering, producing more crisp, detailed images with natural colors, even in low light situations. Huawei also added Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), ensuring stable focus and sharper shots.

As mentioned, the difference between the two devices is in favor of the larger, more expensive P10 Plus. It has a bigger, higher resolution 5.5-inch display (1440 x 2560; 540 ppi), a 6GB RAM / 128GB storage combination option, an IR port, a bigger battery, and IPX3 splash resistance. Take note that its not water resistant.

The rest of the specs are pretty much same, including the front mounted finger print sensor, dual band Wi-Fi, NFC, a USB Type-C port and Android 7.0 Nougat.

Price and Availability

The Huawei P10 and the Huawei P10 Plus is now available for pre-order from April 6 to April 20, 2017 in any Huawei Experience Stores and kiosks, Leica Store Philippines and participating Memoxpress stores nationwide. The smartphones will retail for Php28,990 and Php36,990, respectively.
