Vivo launches the perfect selfie smartphone, the Vivo V5s, in the Philippines. It features an octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, and a 20MP front camera.

Vivo officially launches its perfect selfie smartphone, the Vivo V5s. As expected, Vivo’s followed up last year’s V5 with another high megapixel front camera smartphone. It boasts a 20MP sensor equipped with f2.0 aperture, Face Beauty v6.0, 1080p video recording, and a host of other features.
The Vivo V5s fronts a 5.5-inch HD display. It would have been better if they went with 1080p, but I suppose this was done to cut cost and (maybe) to increase battery life. Under the hood, you have an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor powering the device, paired with 4GB RAM and Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The big RAM is a plus here, as well as the generous storage at 64GB. And if that’s not enough, you can add more via microSD card up to 256GB. Battery capacity is at 3,000 mAh, which could prove to be resilient given the HD display and the MediaTek processor. The rest of the specs include Android 6.0 Marshmallow, an FM radio, and a fingerprint sensor.
