ZTE just announced the beastly Nubia Z17 — a super phone that boasts 8GB RAM and Quick Charge 4+.
ZTE Nubia Z17 Specs
I guess it was only a matter of time before someone releases another super phone. And ZTE does just that with the Nubia Z17. The phone really is a beast. It boasts a host of top end specs that include 8GB RAM (yes, that’s 8GB for God knows what), up to 128GB storage, dual main cameras (23MP + 12MP), a 16MP selfie camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SOC. And that’s just for starters.
The Nubia Z17 also debuts with the Quick Charge 4+, which according to Qualcomm, can charge the phone’s 3,200 mAh battery up to 50 percent in just 25 minutes. Not only that but the new charging tech is said to be 15 percent faster than its predecessor while producing less heat.
Then there’s the 5.5-inch display. It’s probably the one spec that could be viewed as a disappointment. It does go edge-to-edge at the sides but only has 1080p resolution. But most probably won’t even notice it and it helps with the battery life (and probably performance too).
The rest of the specs include Dolby Atmos support (minus the headphone jack), a fingerprint scanner at the back, a USB Type-C port, an IR port, and dual band Wi-Fi.

It has a retail price of CNY 2,799 (roughly Php20,500) for the 6GB/64GB version, CNY 3,399 (Php25,000) for the 6GB/128GB, and CNY 3,999 (Php30,000) for the 8GB/128GB. No news if it will launch in other areas of the world.
