OPPO launches another selfie expert, the OPPO A57. The phone features a 16MP front camera, 3GB RAM and an octa-core Qualcomm processor.

If you’re more into selfies than groufies, then this might be for you because OPPO has just launched the OPPO A57 — the latest in a long line of selfie experts.
“Filipinos love taking selfies. With the spectacular success of F1s, we thought of bringing the same experience to a broader market. The A57 brings consumers premium photography and advanced features, the best that is offered in its price range,” said Stephen Cheng, OPPO Philippines Brand Marketing Manager.
The phone features a unibody build topped with a 5.2-inch HD display, protected by Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor, paired with an Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM.
The phone comes with a 13MP rear camera backed by a Sony IMX258 sensor and a f2.2 aperture lens. While the front camera uses a 16MP sensor and a f2.o lens, similar to the equipped on the OPPO F1s.
The A57 also sports a solid-state fingerprint scanner with a hydrophobic zirconium surface, a water-resistant material said to boost the success rate of scanner, even when a finger is moist.
Other notable specs include a triple-slot SIM tray (for two Nano SIMs and a microSD card), a 2,900 mAh battery, and Color OS 3.0 (based on Android Marshmallow).

The OPPO A57 will be available in OPPO concept and dealer stores nationwide starting June 16, 2017. It will have a retail price of Php11,990.
