Vivo launches the Vivo Y55s — features a quad-core Qualcomm processor, 3GB RAM and a 13MP camera.

Conservatively priced at Php8,990, the Vivo Y55s is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3GB RAM and an Adreno 306. Storage stands at a modest 16GB with an option to expand by up to 256GB via a dedicated micro SD card slot. It’s list of features include a 2,730 mAh battery, dual nano SIM, OTG support, and an updated Smart Split 2.0 technology that allows the user to split the screen.

Among its standout specs, the Vivo Y55s comes with a 13MP rear camera with a f2.2 lens and an LED flash, and a 5MP camera also with a f2.2 lens. It also boasts a feature called the Smart Light Sensor. It detects lighting conditions and adjusts screen brightness accordingly to make pictures of people’s faces more vibrant and clearer.

Last but not the least, the phone runs on a personalized Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
