Reliable leaker Evan Blass releases images of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The phone features a Leica branded dual rear cameras, and an 18:9 6-inch display.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro
According to Blass, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro (codename Blanc) will feature the company’s newest SOC, the Kirin 970. The new chip highlights a powerful Mobile AI tech that combines On-Device AI with Cloud AI that can learn and adapt its users behavior. The phone will have a 6-inch IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1440 x 2880. It will also have 6GB of RAM, either 64GB or 128GB of storage, a 4,000 mAh battery, IP68 certification, and Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 6.0 on top.
As for the cameras, the Mate 10 Pro will have a dual-camera setup co-developed with Leica. A 12MP and a 20MP sensor will be equipped OIS. While the front-facing camera will have an 8MP sensor.
Huawei Mate 10
The Huawei Mate 10 (codename Marcel) will most likely also feature similar specs compared to the Pro. It will have the Kirin 970 SOC, the Leica branded 12MP and 20MP dual cameras, 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage. It is rumored to have small bezels, and dust and water resistance as well.
Rumors suggest the Mate 10 will have a retail price of CNY4,299 in China, or roughly PHP33,500 for the 4GB/64GB variant; with the 6GB/64GB at CNY4,899 (PHP38,000); and the 6GB/256GB for CNY5,599 (PHP44,000).
On the other hand, the Mate 10 Pro will go for CNY5,499 (PHP43,000) for the 6GB/64GB, CNY6,199 (PHP48,000) for the 6GB/128GB, and CNY6899 (PHP53,000) for the 6GB/256GB.
Both the Huawei Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro are expected to debut on October 16, 2017.
