Vivo X20 Plus: Specs, Price
It was barely a week ago when the Vivo X20 Plus with in-display fingerprint variant was spotted in TENAA. Now, it looks like the phone is about to make its debut. Vivo announced that the first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor will launch in Beijing, China on January 24, 2018.
The Vivo X20 Plus will come with a 6.43-inch full HD+ OLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It uses an OLED panel because the Synaptics tech relies on that type of display for the fingerprint scanner to work. The scanner underneath actually peeks between the pixels to identify the fingerprint.
Inside, the phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also come with dual 12MP (F1.8) + 5MP rear cameras, 12MP (f/2.0) selfie camera, and a 3,800 mAh battery.
