The Vivo V9 will officially launch in the Philippines this March 22. According to leaks, it will feature a notched display with an 19:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 626.

The Vivo V9 will officially launch in the Philippines on March 22. We received our media invite, and sure enough, its coming this week.
Like most incoming smartphones nowadays, the Vivo V9 was besieged with its fair share of leaks. This may have been the reason why the launch was announced all of a sudden. It was supposed to initially launch in India on March 27, but because of the leaks, the Philippines (along with Thailand) will instead launch first on March 22.
As for the phone’s specs, we got a glimpse of it when Vivo India’s website posted the list a few days ago. It looks like we’re looking at a device that features a 6.3-inch full HD+ IPS AllScreen display with a notch, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a 2260 x 1080 resolution.

The V9 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It will have a triple card slot for two SIM cards and a microSD card.
The rear camera will have dual sensors 16MP + 5MP arranged vertically, while the selfie camera will pack a 24MP shooter.
Pricing and availability is still not set. But it is rumored that the V9 will have a price of RP4,999,000, which converts to around Php18,300 or USD350.
