The Vivo X21 was recently announced in China. The handset features a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with an under-display fingerprint sensor. If you recall, the tech, co-developed with Synapsis, relies on OLED screens for the scanning to work.
The Vivo X21 comes with a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with a 2280 by 1080 resolution and what looks like a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Inside, the phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with an Adreno 512 graphics unit and 6GB of RAM.
It has a dual rear 12MP f/2.8 + 5MP f/2.4 cameras, with a 12MP front shooter with an f/2.0 lens and an IR fill light that allows for a fast Face Wake 2.0 mapping.
The phone also has a 3,200 mAh battery. It runs on Funtouch OS 4.0, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Vivo X21 64GB has a price of CNY 2,898. Converted, thats roughly PHP 24,000 or USD 458. The 128GB is priced at CNY 3,198 (PHP 26,500 or USD 505). Fans in China can start their orders on March 24; with shipment date set on March 28.
Chances of it reaching the Philippines is small, as Vivo wants to concentrate on getting the V-series on as many Pinoy hands as possible.
