Xiaomi Redmi 6A now comes in 3GB/32GB configuration

Xiaomi has upgraded the the Redmi 6A. It now comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage starting July 10, 2018.

When the Xiaomi Redmi 6A was announced last June, it only came in 2GB/16GB. Fast forward to today, the handset received a spec bump to 3GB/32GB.

The rest of the spec sheet remain unchanged. The Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display, a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor, 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP selfie shooter. The phone runs on MIUI 10 on top of Android Oreo, powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

The Redmi 6A 3GB/32GB variant is currently available in China. It comes with a slight increase in price. The 3GB/32GB variant will now retail for CNY799. Converted, that’s around PHP6,500 or roughly USD125.

No news yet of a local availability at the time of writing.
