The OPPO F9 features a large 6.3-inch full HD+ Waterdrop display with slim bezels and a 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
OPPO F9 Philippines Screen-to-Body Ratio
With the official launch date only days away, more information about the OPPO F9 surfaces. At this point, leaks already told us pretty much most of the phone’s specs. Now we have a few more details.
According to OPPO Philippines, the OPPO F9‘s Waterdrop Screen will have a 90.8% screen to body ratio. Given its dimensions of 156.7 x 74 x 7.99 mm, this makes the phone slightly smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus despite its larger display.
As you can see in the photos, the display is surrounded by slim bezels with a tiny chin. While the new Waterdrop design replaces the love-it-or-hate-it notch.
Either way, OPPO’s approach will maximize the screen. We’ll find out on August 15 when it launches in the Philippines if this pays off for the popular smartphone brand.
