Features
The WH-1000MX3 includes a range of impressive features that make this a compelling headphone.
The Dual Noise Sensor technology captures ambient noise with dual mics, and then passes it through the processor to cancel the noise.
It also comes with an Atmospheric Pressure Optimizing feature that uses sensors to detect air pressure and adapts noise cancelling to high altitudes.
The Adaptive Sound Control detects a user’s environment with 3 auto mode changes. Basically, you can hear all ambient sounds together with music when walking, hear announcements as well as your music when waiting, and be immersed in music with Noise Cancellation when travelling by tram or bus.
And lastly, the Quick Attention Mode lets users hear what’s going on around them without the need to remove the headphones. Simply placing your right hand over the right housing decreases music volume, allowing the you to quickly respond to those around you, while a quick swipe of the touchpad controls the volume or changes the track.
The Sony WH-1000XM3 will be available in the Philippines sometime September 2018. The price has not yet been released.
