Sony recently announced the new WF-1000XM4 \u2013 the latest truly wireless model in its critically acclaimed 1000X series. The new TWS features Sony's newly designed V1 processor, integrating Bluetooth and noise cancellation technology to offer improved noise cancelling performance, better audio quality, and better battery life. The new TWS earbuds offers Hi-Res audio via LDAC codec support. Unlike other codecs, LDAC transmits approximately three times more data than conventional Bluetooth audio. It also comes with DSEE Extreme feature that upscales compressed digital music files in real time to boost audio quality, and 360 Reality Audio a new immersive audio experience. The new TWS model also come with improved passive noise isolation. It has Noise Isolation Earbud Tips made from a unique polyurethane foam material that not only offer a better fit, but also blocks more noise. As expected with premium TWS earphones, these offer a full 8 hours of use from the headphones, and a further 16 hours from the case. A 5-minute quick charge gives up to 60 minutes of play time. The case charges via USB-C or wirelessly with Qi technology. Other features include a proximity sensor for wear detection, IPX4 water resistance rating for splashes and sweat, and touch controls. Price and Availability The Sony WF-1000XM4 will come in Black and Silver, priced at USD 280 (roughly around Php 13,400). It will be available in the Philippines soon.
